Intentionally Planned
We know that you and your wife carry so much for the sake of the church.
To help you rest, we have saved a private estate room just for the two of you. The lodge provides private nooks for reading and relaxing along with game rooms and a gym. There are miles of hiking trails to explore, a stocked pond for fishing, a frisbee golf course and a pickle ball court.
We are inviting you to stop and rest as you enjoy time away, time alone, time with God, and time together. There are opportunities to gather around God’s Word together, alone, and also with couples who know the joys and challenges of ministry. There are optional guided times of prayer and praise. You can schedule time with a counselor, coach, or prayer warrior.
Intentionally Flexible
We are not going to dictate how you spend your time at this retreat. Yes, there is a schedule, but it’s all optional.
If you need to hide in your room together all day, that’s okay. The only thing we “require” of you is that you commit to join us for dinner on both Wednesday and Thursday nights, that you expectantly ask God to meet you while you are away on this retreat, and that you stay open to how God is leading you. That’s it.
This retreat is a gift to you. When it comes to the schedule, receive what you need.
Ways to Rest
Apart from all the onsite activities, you will also have the option of signing up for activities that are uniquely designed for rest. Because there is limited space, these activities will be first come, first serve.
