Sharing grace

Thousands of pastors and ministry leaders leave the ministry every year. Grace Valley Ministries is making a difference by ministering grace to those who minister by helping them stay refreshed and encouraged in their work.

We do this in three ways:

1. Providing getaways for replenishment and time with the Lord in peaceful settings

2. Offering counseling for refreshment, encouragement, and restoration.

3. Connecting pastors in small groups so they have a safe place to do life and ministry together with other ministers.

Pastors, do you need some grace, encouragement, and rest?

We work with pastors and ministers in Georgia just like you!  Contact us to join a group.  Here’s a little about the value of community and grace….

Tim in Canton, Georgia

"My John 17:23 group sustained and encouraged me at a time when I was struggling and failing to be the husband, father and pastor that God has gifted and called me to be.  Our group became, very quickly, a safe place to share my struggles, my hopes, my frustrations, and my tears.  It also became a great place to share joys and many, many laughs.  It has been, in other words, a community of love."

"Through my John 17:23 Pastors group I've met several fellow pastors in our area and have had a chance to both hear their stories and be heard by them.  We share a level of mutual encouragement that is rare in ministry.  The group has provided a safe place to be real with others about the concerns and struggles that we as pastors shoulder.   I've made lifelong friends that I'm genuinely excited to see every time we meet.  Also, we truly have a kingdom mentality that is for one another instead of buying into a lie that we compete.  I'm grateful for the regular time of meeting as it keeps me connected to others and allows us to bring one another before the throne of Grace."

"Being a part of a John 17:23 group has been a tremendous blessing to me and ultimately to my church as well. Having a group of pastors to fellowship with, lean on, and even minister alongside has been especially helpful in becoming more connected to the community. Just last week one of the pastors in the group and myself partnered together (our churches) to send an entire 18 wheeler flatbed truck full of supplies to the flood victims in Louisiana - God blesses our unity! One of the other pastors in our group came and spoke at our church and did a fantastic job.  Finally, I think the best part about being in this group is the safe place it provides each of us to come and share our hearts without any worry or concern about it getting out of that room.  To be able to lean on and pray for each other in that way is absolutely priceless!"

"I had never before taken the time to be a part of a support/accountability group. As with many pastors I thought it would take up too much time in an already busy schedule. I was wrong. My John 17:23 group has provided a place where I can relax and be myself and simply receive. The great thing about it is that I receive by having the men speak into my life and I also receive by speaking into theirs. I look forward to the time I spend with my mentor/friends. I highly recommend this ministry to all pastors, but especially to those who feel that they don't have the time in their busy schedules."
